Nursery Barn Technician

Duties will be and not limited to:

• Washing and sanitizing rooms for weaning.
• Feeding proper diets to piglets.
• Ensuring good health and well being of the animals.
• Perform required vaccinations.
• Perform necessary treatments.
• Sort and size piglets at weaning.
• Some easy maintenance such as fixing leaky water drinkers.
• Assist moving pigs from nursery to finisher barn.
• May include to help out with other tasks on the farm when needed.
• Manage welfare and record keeping as instructed.
