Description of the job
The Solution Architect will provide technical leadership to ensure the integrity, scalability, and consistency of solutions throughout their life-cycle stages. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to align business goals with innovative and cost-effective technical strategies.
This is an initial 6 month contract, extendable up to 24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document business drivers, client processes, and their alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyze business needs and recommend both technical and non-technical solutions.
- Translate business requirements into high-level design specifications.
- Design and document innovative, cost-effective, and operationally supportable solutions.
- Define the structure and interconnections of business processes, work groups, data, applications, user interfaces, infrastructure, and network topology.
- Develop solutions that address business, technical, and financial constraints.
- Evaluate IT operational limitations to propose adaptable and sustainable solutions.
- Assess the effort, risks, costs, and complexity associated with potential solutions.
- Research emerging technologies, vendor capabilities, and market trends to inform recommendations.
- Ensure alignment of solution architectures with enterprise standards, roadmaps, and strategies.
- Guarantee solutions meet objectives for availability, reliability, performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Perform additional architecture-related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in technical IT roles within complex enterprise environments.
- 3+ years of experience in developing solution architectures for multi-tiered platforms.
- Expertise in Information Architecture principles, data management, data integration, and data quality tools.
- Proficiency in Dynamics CRM platforms and enterprise ETL tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service or Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Familiarity with Low Code platforms related to CRM solutions.
- 3+ years of experience architecting solutions involving multi-platform integration (SaaS, PaaS, competing technologies).
- Strong experience with cloud technologies and Azure architecture (NSG, Firewall, Monitoring, Key Vault, Security Controls).
- Knowledge of process re-engineering, requirements gathering, and middleware management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms for diverse audiences.
- Adaptability to dynamic, evolving situations and effective teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise Content Management platforms.
- Familiarity with portal technologies, particularly self-service capabilities.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.
